Thank you for choosing That’s Karma to consign your previously loved items. God has blessed us with the opportunity to have and wear beautiful clothing, now it is our turn to pass this on to others. Always remember, what goes around, comes around!

PLEASE READ THIS CONTRACT THROUGHLY AND KEEP IT AS A REFERENCE! Contract is subject to change without notice!

WHEN AND HOW CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

We accept items that are like-new or new with tags. We accept name-brand, designer, and boutique clothing, shoes, and handbags. Drop-off times are Monday-Thursday 11-9 by appointment (Until 5PM Jan-March). Appointments can be made through phone, email, or FB messenger. We will accept a maximum of 25 items per drop-off. (Drop-offs can be made every two weeks, with a maximum of 50 items on your account at once.) We may decline appointments based on our available space at that moment.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY ITEMS?

Clothing must be like-new, stylish and in ready to sell condition. Items must be freshly laundered, ironed, or steamed. Shoes and handbags need to be wiped down and cleaned out. Clothing should be lint-rolled and folded neatly. Any items with excessive flaws such as: holes, stains (inside & out), odor, tears, piling, dry rot, scuffs, missing buttons, broken zippers, overly wrinkled or too much wear will be donated! Items can be brought in a small tote or box. Please do not bring items in a plastic bin or trash bag. We do not switch out containers. Items will be processed within 1-2 weeks, and items we cannot use will be donated. WE WILL NOT RETURN ANY ITEMS WE CANNOT USE.

WHAT ITEMS MAY BE DONATED?

Due to our customer preferences and space limitations, we must decline some items. Please refer to the list below to better understand what may be donated:

·         Items that are not in great selling condition. (Flaws listed above)

·         Clothing styles that are outdated or not in style. Items should be purchased within 2 years.

·         Shoes that show excessive wear, scuffing or dry rot. Shoes should be like new or NWT and purchased within 2 years.

·         Costume jewelry

·         Lingerie, bathing suits, robes, PJs, socks, scarves, etc.

·         Wedding gowns, formals, mother-of-the-bride dresses, suits

·         Items that are not the appropriate season

HOW DO I GET PAID?

We will price your items accordingly, depending on style, brand, age and demand. Your items will be on the floor for 60 days and will be reduced 20% after 20 days, and an additional 30% off after 40 days. Once your items sell, your account will receive 40% of the sold price for items priced under $50 and 50% for items priced over $50. You can get a check once your account reaches $20.00, or you may use your store credit at any time. Money owed expires after 6 months. Due to the number of consignors, we have, it is your responsibility to check on your account each month! You can call, email, or FB message us to check your account!

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN MY CONTRACT PERIOD IS UP?

We will only pull designer items if not sold. Items priced under $50 will not be given back. Items left past their contract period will be moved to clearance and become the property of That’s Karma. If these “expired” items sell, you DO NOT receive money for them. We will not notify you when your contract period has ended. You can call the store, send us a message or email anytime to check on your account! While we do our best to safeguard your items, we are not liable for fire, damage, theft, or missing items.

 WE WILL NOT RETURN ANY ITEMS THAT DID NOT SELL.
